App Store Hosts 100k iPad Apps

In just over a year, Apple has reached 100,000 iPad-specific apps hosted in their App Store. Congratulations to the Cupertino-based tech firm and developers for making it possible.

Anyway, the tablet leader on the market today, iPad, just took only 452 days to be exact to reach a milestone/achievement for topping 100,000+ iPad apps. During the last Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) hosted by Apple, they disclosed that the applications for iPad had reached about 90,000. The growth is definitely evident as the statistics say.

Even if the App Store is hosting that many apps, it still lacks some apps for popular websites like LinkedIn and Facebook. Though Facebook CEO Marck Zuckerberg assured reporters that next week they will “launch something awesome”. Looks like the Facebook iPad app will be in our tablets anytime soon.
