MyPad+ – for Facebook delivers a superb Facebook experience. It has a great way to navigate photos and gives you the ability to download – and upload – pictures directly from your iPad.

This social networking application has a nice user interface, very clean, easy to navigate and is highly similar to the native Twitter App for iPad, which is definitely a good thing. I love the pull-down to refresh feature as it comes very handy to get the fresh feeds straight from your friends.

Also, you can update your status with ease. It provides quick access to different Facebook features such as news feed, friends, messages, photos, events, groups, search, notifications and chat. It supports multiple accounts, auto-login for a single account and even landscape & portrait mode. Chat is extremely fast, conversations are way easy to handle. You can also access the web version of Facebook inside the application.

Some suggestions/comments:

  • Automatic reloading when browsing down your wall feed for continuous viewing of older posts and comments
  • It lacks the ability to tag friends on a post or comment
  • Friends in chat should be grouped
  • Chat conversation should be on top automatically to avoid the long scrolling down of your online friends to find the chat message

Other than that, it is still a great application. You could try MyPad – for Facebook (with ads) to experience this lovely app free of charge.

If you are still using a different Facebook viewer application for your iPad, I suggest you make the switch as this clearly is the finest way to enjoy your Facebook addiction.

For comments, suggestions and any other concerns, you can reach the developer of the app via Twitter @MyPadApp.
